Common questions
How do I add a widget?
Long-press your home screen → tap "+" in the top-left → search "Datick" → pick a size → tap "Add Widget". Tap the widget after placing to choose which event it shows.
My widget shows the wrong event
Long-press the widget → "Edit Widget" → tap the event field and pick the right one. If the event list is empty, open the app once first to register events with the widget.
Does Datick sync between my iPhone, iPad, and Watch?
Yes — through your private iCloud. Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud, and Datick is toggled on. Sync may take 30–60 seconds the first time.
The Live Activity doesn't appear in the Dynamic Island
Live Activities only appear for events less than 8 hours away (an iOS limit). Long-press the event in Datick and tap "Start Live Activity".
How do I import events from my Calendar?
Tap "+" in Datick → "Import from Calendar" → grant permission → select events to bring in. Imported events become regular Datick events you can edit any time.
Does Datick work in Arabic?
Yes — set your iPhone to Arabic and Datick will switch to Arabic with full right-to-left layout. All UI strings are translated.
What about my data — is it on your servers?
No. Datick has no servers. Events live on your device and (if enabled) in your private iCloud. We can't see them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
